I am a writer living in Newcastle and working in Canberra. I've done a number of things, I’ve run a contemporary arts centre and worked as a public art curator, art consultant and industrial blacksmith. I grew up in the western suburbs of Sydney and via everywhere else now live in Newcastle, Australia. My books include Surf Ache, Vinni versus Bluebottle and The Colour of Trouble all published by Walker Books Australia. I’ve written articles, curatorial essays and occupied a weekly radio slot talking about art, books and life. I now work at the National Gallery of Australia.
